This is a crossover edition in many respects. The messages transited from peace, unity and tranquility during the yuletide to pump and pageantry at New Years. There is also the political transition that dominates every aspect of Nigerian life until the elections are concluded and the baton at the national and subnational levels are handed over. There are transitions in word and deed because this edition of the Executive Summary, opens the year 2023 and shuts the door against 2022.

The occasion was graced by the Director General of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, NGF, Mr. Asishana B Okauru, who described it as a landmark.In thissameedition, the Naira, crossed over from old to new notes in some denominations.Despite all the social upheaval caused by the Naira redesign project however, there is a celebration on the fringes of Borno State, where Governor of the state, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum authorized the immediate setting up of Microfinance institutions.
